Tik Tok PowerPoint Presentation Night

Are you looking for a fun, unique idea for a night with your friends? I tried the Tik Tok Power Point Presentation Night with my friends. Here’s how it went...

Step 1: Gathering My Ladies

When I first proposed this to my girls, I was met with a lot of confused responses. The girls either didn’t know what the Tik Tok trend was or were apprehensive about whether or not it would be fun. After a little convincing, they set to work on their presentations. 

Step 2: Challenges

I think the hardest part of this whole challenge was trying to find a topic on what to talk about. So many of the tik toks where people did this trend were about the people friend group. Here’s the thing: I am a connector, the binding link between these ladies. None of them knew each other before coming over that night. Is it a chaotic way to meet people for the first time? Yes, absolutely. I am so grateful these ladies were down to play along with my shenanigans. 

~The Presentations~

One of my ladies did a cute presentation of her dog, Ralphie. I have never met her dog in real life but he is the cutest rescue with an underbite. He loves snuggles, hates thunderstorms, and matters so much to my friend. This presentation really showcased her love for her little dog and I give it a 10 / 10. 

Another one of my ladies did a presentation on the Sexiest Disabilities. Her husband has ADHD and won first place of course. Funny, a little raunchy, and a great addition to the presentation collection. 10/10.

My last guest did something a little different that was equally impressive. She gave a presentation of a currently existing presentation on the spot. It was on blobfish, a quite ugly fish. The presentation material had lots of fun text and colors and animations. 10 / 10.

My Presentation​

For my presentation, I combined my passion for Dungeons and Dragons with the admiration I have for each of these ladies to present to them what class and subclass I think each of them would play in Dungeons and Dragons. I downloaded my free presentation template, added some animations to the presentations, gave them a little background about how Dungeons and Dragons character creation works and presented to them the following…
My friend who gave a presentation about her doggie would be a Circle of Shepherd Druid. She asked friends who do play Tabletop RPGs and they agreed with my conclusion. For my friend who did a presentation on Sexiest Disabilities, she would be an Arcane Trickster Rogue. My friend who improv presented about a blobfish would be a Twilight Domain Cleric. 
For each of these ladies, I included quotes from the source material and personal facts I knew about each of them to support my thesis. At the end of my presentation there was a QR code so they could take a personality test to see if I was right. I can’t remember if any of them took it but it was a fun time.
