Quick Summary~
Belle is not like most girls in her small provincial town. She’s smart and beautiful. One day, her dad goes into the forest and doesn’t return. She goes after him and what does she find but an enchanted castle with talking furniture and a ferocious beast! She agrees to switch places with her dad and slowly learns to love a beast. 
This movie was originally released in 1991 but was recently remade in 2017. It has a Christmas special made in1997 and a Broadway musical released in 1993. Here is the soundtrack for the musical below for your listening pleasure. My high school did this musical when I was a freshman and it was pretty good.

• Also I’ve always thought Mrs. Potts and Belle’s dad would be cute together since we never see Mr. Potts

Quick Summary~
It’s Thanksgiving and Charlie Brown yet again fails to kick the football. Peppermint Patty invites herself, Franklin, and Marcie over for Thanksgiving dinner at Charlie Brown’s house. Charlie Brown scrambles to put together a full meal last minute but then Charlie Brown’s grandma invites everyone to join them for Thanksgiving. 
How old are the Peanuts characters?So most of them are 4-8 depending on the comic you’re reading. Linus and Sally are supposed to be two years younger than everyone else. Apparently, the author of the Peanuts comics only loosely defined their ages. So if sometimes they sound 4 going on 54, now you know why. 
Who does Charlie Brown date?Peggy Jean. They dated in the ’90s. Ultimately, she breaks up with him though.

Snoopy put in all that work cooking the food and setting up the table for Friendsgiving and everyone gives him an earful for it! That’s not fair. Plus Peppermint Patty picks a fight with Charlie Brown for no reason. Girl, do you like him or not?

Quick Summary~
Annie is an orphan in New York City with a locket from her parents. She’s constantly escaping in an attempt to reunite with them. For Christmas break, she gets to spend it with Mr. Warbucks billionaire philanthropist. He likes her so much, he decides to help her but she’s not ready. So he helps her try to find her parents. Unfortunately, it won’t be that easy…

Annie was originally a comic but now it’s at least 4 movies and a Broadway musical.

Summary of Halloweentown 1:Marnie is almost 13 and loves Halloween. Unfortunately, her mom is very anti-Halloween. Her grandma suspiciously comes only once a year and tells her of a place called Halloweentown where all ghosts, witches, werewolves, vampires, ghouls, and more live in peace and harmony. Dissatisfied with how mom raised her, Marnie and her siblings follow her grandma back on the bus. Imagine their surprise when they discover Halloweentown is a real place! Not only that, but people have been disappearing. Can the kids help grandma save the town?

Kalabar’s Revenge Summary:After a brief time skip, Marnie and her family are celebrating Halloween yet again, fully embracing their magic. Oh no, grandma’s spellbook has gone missing! When Marnie and grandma go back to Halloweentown to get her back up, everything is colorless. Marnie and her siblings must work together to get to the bottom of it while preventing the nefarious plot from happening on Earth. This one has time travel!

Ranking the Halloweentown trilogy:My ranking is subjective and primarily based on how likable Marnie is since she’s our main character. Most of the time Marnie is super arrogant and treats everyone like poo. I will say I like how the villains are basically the guys who try to date the family. In the first one, it’s the guy who likes mom. The second one was Marnie’s date. In the last one, it’s the guy who likes grandma. It draws a cool parallel even if it’s a little predictable by movie number 3. 
Klabar’s Revenge is the best one. I like how Marnie has to get creative with the portals and it feels like she learned something in the last movie.
Halloweentown High: it feels like Marnie, her brother, and grandma learns something in this movie. I miss Luke though and totally thought he and Marnie would get together.
Halloweentown: Marnie is a terrible role model, there’s no portal jumping, and the nefarious plot isn’t that interesting.
